How to Copy the Main Title of a DVD Movie to a Blank Disc?

CloneDVDMain Movie cuts out all unnecessary and unneeded intros, menus, language, and sound tracks. It allows you to keep the main part (the longest title) of a DVD, therefore need less compression.

Main Movie Guide

Step 1. Load Source DVD

Startup CloneDVD. Select Main movie mode and insert the DVD into DVD drive.

Step 2. Set the Target.

If there is only one DVD drive, you need to set the same drive as the target. Choose Copy as DVD and specify target DVD capacity: 4.7GB (DVD-5), 3.95 GB (DVD-R v1.0), and 8.5 GB (DVD-9).

3. Select Audio & Subtitle

In this copy mode, you will not be allowed to remove any title or chapter, except the audio or subtitle. Choose your desired one or just leave it as default.

4. Start to Copy the Main Movie

After all the selections are complete, click start button to begin the copy process. CloneDVD will copy the main movie to temporary hard disk folder first.

5. Start Burning DVD

After copy finishes, please eject the original DVD disc and insert a blank DVD disc, then cancel the popup autoplay box and press “OK“, CloneDVD will begin to burn to the blank disc.

If there are DVD-ROM and DVD±RW, CloneDVD will directly copy from source DVD to target DVD.
