Reliable Software Review Sites

There is so much software  there for  different things.  It is hard to know what software works and what doesn’t without spending a lot of money just to find out something is junk. So many of us turn to the internet to find out from other users what they think. You should always take what you read from other people and put it into perspective, and there are also some more reliable reviews out there than others.

Here are some of the best places to go to find  how different software work.

CNET. CNET has been around for a while and is trusted by many when it comes to software. You can find reviews, downloads, and news from CNET. They will give you an idea of what is a good deal and what their editors choose as the best software as opposed to what their readers and users are picking. You can also find out what the best free software is.

Amazon. Although Amazon is not a computer or tech specific site, there are always a ton of reviews. It is often good to have a large number of reviewers giving their opinion on something you can look at it from several points of view. If a particular software product has many reviewer saying the same thing about it either good or bad, you can base your decision on this. Just keep in mind that many of the reviewer may not have any kind of technical or computer based background.

PCmagazine. PC magazine is another reputable source of information. It offers reviews on software for security, for music, networking, and also for mobile phones. You can search for a particular software, or look a  category to find what you need.
