Verizon Wireless, the leading U.S. telecom network has more than 32% total Apple iPhone 4 users in the United States, according to recent research reports.
The company holds around 32 percent of the Apple’s iPhone 4 smartphones being used in the country were using through Verizon’s network as of July 1, a new research revealed.
“Despite AT&T’s practically 8 month leadership, Verizon has handled to grab around a third of the U.S. iPhone 4 marketplace,” analyst firm Localytics explained in a blog post on its results.
The company was introduced iPhone 4 in the beginning of February, AT&T, the only other wireless carrier that distributes the iPhone, AT&T was introduced the latest version of Apple’s iPhone in June 2010.
Each month since the Verizon iPhone 4 released, the company has raised its market share of the iPhone 4, going from roughly 20% in February to more than 32% in July, Localytics added.
Localytics clarified it “broke down all U.S. iPhone 4 traffic” to arrive at its figures, including charting the Verizon iPhone’s demands since its release.
